First Beckhoff Automation Update in Turkey met with great interest

Beckhoff held an Automation UpDate in Turkey for the first time ever on 21 October 2011. The compact lecture and discussion series, with which Beckhoff informs about current developments and trends in automation technology, took place in the Rahmi Koç Museum in Istanbul. With around 100 participants, the Automation UpDate in Turkey was very well attended.

The highlights of the lectures were the topics “PC-based control”, “XFC technology”, “EtherCAT” and “TwinCAT 3” as well as “Drive Technology” and “Industrial PC”. Kenan Aktaş, Area Sales Manager at Beckhoff, reports: “On the one hand, the Automation UpDates enable us to inform our Turkish customers about the latest technical developments as well as solutions in automation technology from Beckhoff. On the other, we learn more about the requirements of the Turkish market through such events and we can thus offer our customers appropriate solutions and strategies.”

Kenan Aktaş adds: “The Automation UpDate was a further step towards supporting the successful work of the Turkish branch from Germany and the further strengthening of our market position. Hence, several customers, including important machine manufacturers from the most diverse branches of industry, have already expressed the desire for us to offer the event again next year.”
